This is the 1/72 Hasegawa tomcat kit (Top Gun kit n°K141) with a Verlinden detail set (n°1155) and some pieces from a Fujimi F-14 (for the radar and the crew boarding ladder). I used Lifecolor paints ( ref UA078 for the green, UA089 for the sand, UA143 for the brown and UA021 for the grey ). The decals came from the new "Hi-Decal Line" decals sheet (IRIAF and USN desert tomcats (1/72 and 1/48). Thanks to Diego and Brian for the quality of their products.
It's not the first NSAWC plane that I made (2 F-16, 1 F-18 and an other tomcat, only 1/72) but certainly one of my best. I don't used an airbrush yet, only paintbrushes.
My next project will be the same plane but with the second version that you can find on the same decals sheet : the splintered NSAWC tomcat : the "10".
