This unique
paintwork was applied to one of the Hungarian Air Force's Mi-24 helicopter. She
received the nickname "Csőrike" (Tweetie) and was repainted for
the Szentkirályszabadja Airshow held in 2000, Hungary. Currently the plane can
be found in the Aircraft museum of Szolnok, Hungary. I used Humbrol and Revell enamels for the camouflage using a brush.
The fine transitions between the colors were achieved by using pastell chalk and "Derwent Artist" artists' pencils and lacquer thinner for washing the colors together. Ákos
