Probably the best Scale Model ever made, the Tamiya 1/32 F-16 brings the concept of realism to a new level. Loaded with tons of detail; this kit is very fun to build. I decided to build this kit out of the box, but I added some scratch parts here and there. The original plans was to have all the lights working, that didn't go well on the last stages of construction. At the end all I had was two lights on the back.

As far as the paint job I primed the entire kit with some Krylon dark gray primer, next the primary colors (I used a combination of Tamiya and Gunze acrylics) next a coat of future floor wax, decals, and an oil wash, and finally a flat coat with Testors flat coat lacquer.

For the markings I decided to go with the 8th Fighter jet. I love the tail work on this bird. The problem that I ran later was that the Wolf Pack uses Block 40 birds and the Tamiya kit is a Blk50. To my understanding the differences are minor so I Forrest Gump my way :)

The project took me about six months, it was fun, but sometimes stressful.  I highly recommend this model, I know is a bit high on price, but is worth every penny. I want to extend especial thanks to Erick Swanberg and Michael Winter for the decals and instructions. Also you can look some more pictures at www.freewebs.com/qsscaleshop/. Enjoy
Jose
