Finally decided to build another UH-1D. So
I got hold of the old Revell UH-1D kit which is now as old as the hills but still a good kit to make despite its age. Painting the model was easy using Model Masters Olive Drab for the overall finish
and painting the upper sides of the main blades olive drab also. I
painted flat black underneath the main rotor head old silver for the finish then sprayed model with Model master Dull Coat to tone down paint then put a coat of Gloss.
I then started to apply the decals which came from Fireball Model Works and needed a little work but go on very
nice (gives you a choice of 6 different Hueys from Vietnam). Once decals where in place
I added a touch of solverset and finally another coat of Dull Varnish to tone it all down again.
