This is the first
model I finished in years! It was my entry for the matchbox groupbuild on the
ARC hunter. As I wanted to make a silver Hunter, I chose this version. It is
Hunter T.8C G-BWGL as used in the Fatboy Slim music video "Bird of
prey". For the video, they covered all British roundels and the
registration with American ones. They also added smiley killmarks and the
"Bird of prey" noseart.

This kit was really
fun to build and the result came out quite nice. I made the decals myself on the
computer using the videoclip as reference. The real one is a T.8, but I didn't
add the tailhook to the kit as it was not included and the groupbuild called for
little or no scratchbuilding.
I wish to thank Bill Ficner
for donating the kit to me for the groupbuild and Phil Schenfeld for printing
the decals. This kit and groupbuild was great fun! Thanks!
