This aircraft belonged to 112 squadron based in Gambut airfield, in Libya, in February 1942.  It was flown by Neville Duke.  With this aircraft Neville Duke destroyed a Macchi 200 on February 14.  At the end of the war his score stood at 27 aircraft destroyed.

I used the P-40E from Hasegawa in 1/48 scale.  It was built directly from the box execpt for the seat belts.  Acrylic Lifecolor paints were used.  The decals are from the box.
