This is my 1/48 scale Monogram RF101C with C&H aerominatures conversion I finished about 4 months ago. For anyone who hasn’t seen one of their conversions, the set consists of a large one piece resin nose, new landing gear doors, afterburner cans and few other cockpit parts and pieces. For a resin conversion, the fit was remarkably snug. Since I found the lines of the RF101C irresistible, I couldn’t pass on purchasing the kit back at the IPMS nationals in Atlanta.

All panel lines were sanded off and rescribed. Markings were supplied with the conversion set.  The model was painted with Gunze Sangyo aqueous acrylic paint stained and streaked with an oil based wash.
