This was one of those kits you
build for fun between serious aircraft projects, I always liked SeaQuest
while it was on the air and was surprised to find a kit from the show.
Even though it was a simple build,
I couldn't help but put a bit of extra effort into it and try out some of
those tips and tricks I always see in the articles here. It
also gave me a chance to experiment with a new paint technique using a metalic
blue over a gloss black base coat for an iridescent effect.
It was a really fun little project
and gets a fair bit of attention on my shelf.
