Hello, this is my humble rendition of Academy's nicely detailed 1/35 UH-1C Huey Heavy Hog. I build the kit OOB. Decals were from the kit. The kit decals were thick, stubborn and out of register. It was very difficult to get the decals to conform / laydown properly despite numerous applications of Microsol / Mark Softer / etc.

I used Tamiya, Model Master, and Gunze paints.  

For weathering, I gave the chopper a chalk wash and flat coat followed by some light drybrushing.  And yes, the lower nav lights have all been painted over since (honest!)...
