Hi everyone! My next project is this 1/48 Revell/Monogram F-14D.  I did a little bit of modification in the cockpit, added tail stiffener, bumps and antennas with Steel Beach accessories, squared off the engine fairings to convert to a nice F-14D.  The decals came from Brian Marbey's VF-Decals F-14D Grim Reapers. SJU-17 seats came from GD.

Did alot of dry fitting, sanding, puttying, sanding and dry fitting again until I was satisfied.  Also I rescribed the whole kit (first time).

I primed the whole kit with GS Mr. Surfacer 1000 and checked for seams and imperfection. After that, I proceeded pre-shading with black and painted it with its standard TPS scheme until just a little shade of the pre-shading showed up. Glossed it with Future, let it dry, applied decals and shot another Future.  Weathering was kept to a minimum using Payne's gray and mineral spirit.  Finally sealing everything with more Future with mixed flat base.  Hope you guys enjoy it, I surely enjoyed building it!
