I'd heard alot about Trumpeter kits and as a result, probably had higher expectations of this kit than was deserved. The more observant will note several factual inaccuracies with my build and marking of this aircraft. Some of which are the result of oversights in the kit, others are in my interpretation and the fact that given the inherent inaccuracies, I concentrated more on trying to create a good-looking build, as opposed to a factually accurate one.

I'd like to point out that this build is the first in which I've 'added' to the standard detail, in the form of limited additions such as scratchbuilt windscreen wipers and the mesh covering the intakes. I found this process enjoyable and hope to continue with future builds! It got to a point where I considered the inherent inaccuracies within the kit and thought, 'to hell with it, there's too much to worry about, just make it look good!' I could've spent ages correcting factors that would have made little difference to the overall presentation, instead I chose to focus on the finish; which I'm very happy with!
