I built this model over 15 years ago...
This is an old Academy 1/48 scale(?) copied from the Fujimi 1/50 scale kit!  I managed to replace the canopy and the cockpit tub from the Monogram F-5F, the decals from a Super Scale sheet for international F-5's.  I used MM paints with FS color for SEA camouflage pattern.  The kit is very basic, but Academy did a good thing, it came with recessed panel lines!  Weathering was done with color pencils and some silver metallic paint brushed on the model.  

This F-5B with VNAF color in the period of late 1960's the role for this aircraft was used on that time including a "check out bird" for the fresh pilots, a fast FAC, an Air Combat Command...or even an escort along with the RF-5A reconnaissance mission!
