This is the early version of the "Tomcat", block 75.  Produced in March, 1974. Assigned to the VF-32 "Swordsmen" squadron with the US Navy.  However it's life was very short.  Already with VF-101 it crashed near Oceana air base on October, 31, 1977.

The model is assembled from the Hasegawa P18 "F-14A Tomcat Pacific Fleet Squadrons" kit.  Also I used some kits from the Czech firm "Aires", wheels from "Quipage", armament from "Hasegawa".  Decals were from the #48165 sheet from "StrikeEagle".
