Like many other Monogram kits the Liberator shows its age with crude moulding patterns, transparent parts that stand out of the grey silver plastic surfaces and raised panel lines. Nonetheless, the dimensions are accurate and it looks like a Liberator, which is really the bottom-line in the modelling world. I chose the 458BG Assembly Ship to liven up the otherwise monotonous surfaces of the B-24J. All markings except for the national insignia were made with templates or by hand.
