This set is called "Changing of the Guard, July, 1974"  It represents the Florida Air National Guard's (FANG) transition from the worn and weathered Convair F-102 Delta Daggers (CASE XX wing) to the Convair F-106 Delta Darts.  I used an Eduard brass cockpit detail set on the F-102 and Eaglestrike decals for the F-106.  I had to make the F-102 "lightning bolt" tail flash by down sizing the the one for the F-106.  The Air National Guard logos and numbers for the F-102's tail were taken from my spare decals collection.  The tail and nose numbers are accurate to the actual "FANG" aircraft.  The F-102's silver tail section is done in kitchen type aluminum foil and the panel and recess lines are distressed in pencil whereas the F-106 has the "new" delivery look.
