Hello! greetings from Colombia and a happy New Year for everyone!

The PZL P.11 was a Polish fighter aircraft, designed in early 1930s by PZL.  It was briefly considered to be the most advanced fighter design in the world.  The PZL P.11 served as Poland's primary fighter defence in the Polish Campaign, but by that point was outdated due to rapid advances in aircraft design.

This plane, with the code 4 was used by the second lieutenant Jan Dzwonek in September, 1939, changed his surname to Jasinski, which he continued using up to his death in 1982.

This one is a rare kit (Encore Models), in scale 1:72nd, I acquired it in a sale on the Internet from a companion modeller whom I bought 10 models; then he treated me to model number 11 and a very special gift that did me. (thank to you Edison Franco!) It was lacking 3 pieces: one of the engine, one of the cabin and the windshield, which I made with estirene and transparent acetate.

To make it more real I added 3 figures from Airfix's set, a simple base of wood and artificial pasture to complete the scene.
I hope that you like, a good model and a good project to be left to go for the history.
A specimen of this aircraft survived the war and is in a museum in Cracow.
