1/48 Trumpeter RF-5C Vigilante

Two Trumpeter RF-5C Vigilante's, both are built out of the box with aftermarket decals. The nice looking one (with the green tail) was just finished for the ARC recce group build. The other one was built when the kit first came out.

Now, neither will win any awards cause I have been reducing my after market stuff on kits, the hobby is expensive enough as it is. But this is one of those kits that some after market might have helped. Neither got the aftermarket braces that are available, but learning what went wrong with the first one I was able to do a better job on the second one.

Actually the first one is not built all that poorly, just the finished paint job left a little to be desired. The second one turned out much better.
