Some time ago I was asked by a fellow friend of mine to make him a model of the RC135A Photo Mapping aircraft they used during the 60's. Flying with the 1370th Photo Mapping Wing these A/C after a time where decommisioned and converted to D models. This wing only operated 4 of this type. Using the Heller KC 135A model didn't take much to convert it over to the photo mapping bird leaving off the refuelling boom and just adding a few parts for the camera ports was just about it as far as converting it over. Decals were taken from spare box for the Mats Insignia painting was done using Flo-quill Old silver. Charles Click on images below to see larger images
