I am always interested in the achievements of the planes of the Argentine Air Force during the Falklands War.  This is the good ol' French Mirage 3 that served well during the conflict and I wanted to pay homage to this aircraft and it's exploits decades ago.  

The Mirage 3 exported to Argentina had some small changes which included: 

• 1° absence of the Doppler equipment 
• 2° antenna UHF in extension of the drift (ailerons) during the Falklands War the Mirage was used like escort ship and interceptor for the defense of the capital buenos-surfaces and point-vital of the country.

For the painting of my Mirage it is of the 117,32, 119 in Humbrol the nose of the fuselage is in black satin.  It has two auxiliary tanks and an air-to-air missile Matra r-530 under the belly.
