Tamiya's excellent little kit of the very colourful JV44 Red 1 FW190D9. The kit went together very well.  The fit is so good the wings and tailplane were assembled and painted separately from the fuselage before attaching.  This saved masking and awkward painting angles around the fuselage sides above the wing and around the tail.  Topside colours were Tamiya AS sprays decanted and airbrushed.  The lower side red is Tamiya acrylic.

The decals, including the white stripes are from the kit. They worked very well over Future and using Mr. Mark Softer and the top coat is Microscale
"satin".
