This model depicts an aircraft flown by the 27th Fighter Bomber Group in North Africa and Sicily in 1943. Click on images below to see larger images
The A-36A proved to be a potent weapon as a dive bomber. Besides dive bombing, the A-36A racked up 84 enemy aircraft downed and created an "ace" Lieutenant Michael T. Russo from the 27th FBG.
