Over the years many planes have been flown by the RCAF and later the CAF, but few captured the heart like the Voodoo. The Voodoo had a long career with Canada and it's ability to withstand the adverse weather in Canada made it an ideal interceptor for Canada. In the end the Voodoo's were cannibalized to keep some of them flying while the remainder of them became grounded and stripped of parts for their flying bretheran.
Belcher Bits has captured the complete operational history of the Voodoo in Canadian service from the first Voodoo delivered for service in 1961 to gloss black Voodoo used for ECM testing by the USAF that was leased by Canada in 1985. In total there are 9 decal options to choose from......so deciding on one will be a challenging choice indeed.
Included with the decals are detailed instructions telling about the history of the Voodoo. This is a beautifully done decal sheet for depicting any CF-101 in an operational paint scheme from 1961 to 1985. The printing on this decal sheet on the 1/72 and 1/48 samples I have before me is all in register and even the tiniest details show up as being very clear. It is also a very colourful decal sheet. Plus there are very complete instruction sheets to assist you to build the CF-101 of your choice. These decals will be a blessing to anyone that wants to build a particular CF-101....especially with the re-release of the 1/48 Monogram Voodoo.
