#EC 10 Decal Sheet
WW2 Luftwaffe Fw 190's
Scans by Steve Bamford (ARC Staff)
This decal sheet permits the modeller to build any of 4 Fw 190 A's, D's and F's. One interesting plane on this sheet is an Fw 190 F-8 that is almost completely bare metal....very rare for a Luftwaffe aircraft to be baremetal. This decal sheet is high quality in printing and is perfectly in register. The instruction sheets are very good and include a good bit of info on each plane. The coloured instruction sheets are a welcome aid for the less experienced modeller that's not an expert of Luftwaffe colours. The planes covered in this decal sheet are:
1) Fw 190 A-8 of Maj. Kurt Buhligen Kommodore JG2 Summer 1944
2) Fw 190 F-8 of Fw. Eugen Lorcher 5.SG 2 8 May 1945 Aufhausen, Germany
The story of this bare metal plane is interesting. Fw. Eugen Lorcher stowed his fiancee in the rear fuselage and belly landed at Aufhausen to escape the Russians. Every year he and his wife return to this site celebrating their escape with a toast of champagne.
3) Fw 190 D-9 of an unknown pilot 13./JG 51 May 1945 Flensburg, Geramny
4) Fw 190 D-9 of an unknown pilot 5./JG 26 5 May 1945 Lister, Norway
(size and resolution of decal sheet has been reduced to protect the art work)
