#48009 1/48 scale Decal Sheet
#72022 1/72 scale Decal sheet
Review by Steve Bamford
This is a decal sheet from Hi-Decal Line that is available in 1/72 and 1/48.
This decal sheet includes decal options for 5 planes, but only includes enough stencils for one plane.
The first decal option is for a MiG-15 bis Fagot B of the Soviet Air Force, flown by Soviet Ace Nikolay Shkodin (credited with 4 F-86s and 1 F-84) in North Korea. The paint scheme is Dark Green (FS 34128) and Light Brown (FS 30257).
The second decal option is a MiG-15 bis Fagot B of the Soviet Air Force Aerobatic Team of 1954. The paint scheme of this plane is gloss red (FS 11140) on top and Aluminium on the underside.
The third decal option is a Lim-2 Fagot B of the 1st Fighter Regiment "Warszawa" of the Polish Air Force out of Minsk Mazowiecki AB in 1959. The paint scheme on this plane is Aluminium.
The fourth decal option is a MiG-15 bis Fagot B of the East German Air force in 1957. The paint scheme on this plane is Aluminium.
The fifth decal option is an Egyptian MiG-15 bis Fagot B of the Egyptian Air Force over the Sinai in October 1956. The paint scheme on this plane is Aluminium.
These decals are clearly printed in register and appear very thin, so they should conform beautifully. The small stencil writing is clear and readable on the 1/48 sample I have before me.
