J-Bots decal has come out with a sheet that is sure to interest the chopper modeller. We've all heard of the Canada Goose....well here's a CH-136 Kiowa with quite the fancy paint scheme. Both sides of this Kiowa are adorned in murals of two Canada Geese in flight.

The level of detail and colours of these decals is quite good. These are not silk screened decals, so you will have to cut them from the backing paper but this isn't a big deal. You've really got to see the art work on this one to believe it....very nice indeed.

This sheet is available in 1/72, 1/48 and 1/35.....I'll review the 1/72 sheet here and the 1/35 sheet separately. Directly below is a close-up photo of the artwork on this decal sheet. If you look carefully there is a brass fitting above the head of the goose on the left......only ALPS printed decals can do justice to metallic colours such as brass. On this decal sheet it looks like real brass, although the picture can't capture the look of the brass. The decal sheet also includes all stencils to do the complete chopper. There is even stencils for the "Inside" of the doors.

Below you can see the two pages of colour instruction sheets. These instruction sheets are very complete and should leave no doubt where all the decals need to be placed. I highly recommend these decals to anyone wanting to have a truly unique chopper. I'd like to thank J-Bot Decals for the review sample.
