Scale is a decal company in Bangkok Thailand and their decals focus
mostly on Air Forces of the Far East, but they also do decals for
aircraft of other Air Forces....such as Israel. This 1/48 decal
sheet focuses on six different F-5's of the Republic
of Singapore Air Force. There are enough stencils included to build
4 of
the 6 planes featured on this decal sheet.
The aircraft include a selection of low-viz grey F-5's as well as an F-5 in a green jungle camo. The F-5's represented on this sheet include F-5S, RF-5S and F-5F with the Republic of Singapore Air Force. The planes have a variety of interesting squadron markings as you can see in the decal sheet image below. |

The decals are clearly printed. They are a bit thicker than most decals, but they aren't overly thick and should settle down just fine....I don't see this as a problem. The colour of the decals looks very good and the detail on the tiny stencils and noseart is very clear. The instruction sheet includes very well done and complete black and white line drawings showing stencil and decal placement as well camo layout for the paint scheme. Colours mentioned on the instruction sheet are for the Aquieous Hobby Color brand of paints. All in all a nice set of decals of the Republic of Singapore Air Force F-5's and I recommend these to anyone wanting to add a Republic of Singapore Air Force F-5's to their display case.
