Another great sheet for the Academy F/A-18C from Twobobs!  Two aircraft are represented on this sheet from VFA-25 of Lemoore NAS.  They deployed on the USS Abraham Lincoln in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom.

The first aircraft 164633/400 is the CAG bird and as per your typical VFA-25 CAG jet, it sports an all black vertical stab with the well known "Fist" markings.  Mission markings are also on this jet and they signify 9 JDAM missions.

A/C 164645/411 was the busiest jet on this deployment.  28 JDAM misson marks along with 6 JSOW and 2 HARM markings are on this jet.  More subdued fist markings adorn this jet since it's a standard line jet from the squadron.

Lots of guys helped out with this sheet and greased the skids for Bob Sanchez to be able to get on the line and get the photos necessary for this product.  Dennis McGrath of Lemoore NAS Public Affairs as well as some great guys from VFA-25 themselves.

The decals themselves are contained on 3 separate sheets (remember this is big ol' 1/32).  You get enough stencils etc to do one of the 2 aircraft featured, which is just fine.....I can't imagine many people wanting to build 2 of the 1/32 F/A-18C's with similar markings.  The decals are so crisp and clear....ahh the beauty of 1/32.....even the tiniest decal details are clear.

The instructions are the usual beautiful 2 page colour instructions that the Twobobs are known for.  Paint codes are lists in FS #'s as well as the number for 4 different brands of paint.  The instructions look straightforward and easy to follow.  The second page of the instructions include some background history about the "Fist of the Fleet" VFA-25.  A very well done decal sheet and highly recommended for anyone that has a "Fist of the Fleet" VFA-25 Hornet in their plans.

This sheet is available through http://www.twobobs.net/ and select US Hobby Shops.  Overseas customers can purchase these from Twobobs site or through Twobobs network of overseas distributors.  Remember, shipping is always FREE to US Customers at Twobobs!!
