This is Hasegawa's new 1/48th. scale AV-8B Harrier kit.

Kit# PT28

Box dimensions:length 360 mm width 190 mm height 70 mm

It comes in light grey plastic with the following dimensions:

Length of model: 307 mm
Wingspan: 195 mm
Construction booklet: 1
Number of sprues: 15
1 Clear sprue with 10 parts
1 Polly cap sprue with 4 parts
1 Decal sheet with 2 options
Total number of plastic parts: 152

Main features include:

-Very clean and crisp moldeing.
-Engraved /raised panel lines where appropriate

-A decal sheet 2 different markings :

1-VMA-231 "Ace Of Spades" Nov.2001
2-VMA-223 "Bulldogs"

Both in low viz schemes but with some colored markings.

-Movable exhaust nozzles

-Very clear parts with an extra attention paid in moldeing (see photo).

-Optional open/closed aux air intakes

-Load consisting of 2 AIM-9 L Sidewinders, 2 under fuselage machine gun pods, 1 AN/AAQ-28 pod, 2X 300gal. drop tanks, 1 empty pylon, under fuselage and 2 ones under wigs.

The only negative remark is the inclusion of decals to represent the instrument panel and side consoles.
