1/72, 1/48 Marine One decal sheet

After
searching for some time and contemplating custom decals that I feared, I found
these decals from Model Alliance in the UK.
The normal helicopter used by Presidents Nixon-Bush II, the VH-3, is
featured in a series of decals available through www.theaviationworkshop.co.uk.
The decals are offered in both 1/72 and 1/48 scale.

The well-known white-topped Sea King is provided, as are support helicopters flown by the Marine Squadron responsible for presidential helicopters (HMX-1). The decal sheets have good detail, and the scans show well the detail in the presidential seals. The sheets, set USP-02, are all that is provided along with the instructions, making any airframe modifications up to the modeler. One thing not shown is the white sheet of decals that did not scan very well. Overall, it’s a subject with a lot of potential, and I look forward to seeing it done.
