This sheet
offers the modeller 5 decal options. There are enough stencils included to
do one of the 5 planes featured on this sheet, although with additional stencils
more planes could be made.
The first decal
option is for a Su-24 MK Fencer D of the 234 "Proskuroskiy" GvIAP
of the Soviet Air Force at Kubinka airbase in 1991. This plane has a
desert camo scheme of the following colours....Sand Brown (FS30227), Dark
Brown (FS?) and Light Blue (FS 35526) for the
underside. The nose cone is white (FS27875). There is a big blue
(with a white outline) #"92" on the side of the engine intakes
and a smaller blue (with a white outline) "92" on the top of the
tail.
The second decal
option is for a Su-24 MK Fencer D of the Iraqi Air Force in 1990. This plane has a
desert camo scheme of the following colours....Sand Brown (FS30227), Dark
Brown (FS?) and Light Blue (FS 35526) for the
underside. The nose cone is white (FS27875). There are some black
Arabic letters on the side of the fuselage by the cockpit.
The third decal
option is for a Su-24 MR Fencer E of the 48 Indep Recce Avn Regt. of the
Ukrainian Air Force at Kolomyya airbase in 1992. This plane has a
grey paint scheme
including the following colours....Mid Grey (FS26375) and White (FS27875) on the
topside and White (FS27875) on the
underside. The nose cone is White (FS27875). Markings include a
large white #31 on the side of the engine intakes and top of the
tail. There are also special markings on the tail and side of the
fuselage by the cockpit.
The fourth decal
option is for a Su-24 MK Fencer D of the 72nd TFS of the Islamic Iranian Air Force
at Shiraz airbase in 1997. This plane has a 3 tone desert/green camo scheme
including the following colours....Sand Brown (FS30227), Dark Brown (FS?) and
Dark Green (FS 34079) and Light Blue (FS 35526) for the
underside. The nose cone is white FS27875. Markings include the
standard national markings as well as the letters IRIAF on the side of the
fuselage by the cockpit.
The fifth decal
option is for a Su-24 M Fencer D of the 116 GvBAP of the 26th Air Army of the
Soviet Air Force at Ross airbase in 1991. This plane has a grey paint scheme
including the following colours....Mid Grey (FS26375) and White (FS27875) on the
topside and White (FS27875) on the
underside. The nose cone is White (FS27875). Markings include a
large white #24 on the side of the engine intakes and top of the tail.
There are also a red star on both side of the tail.

These decals are clearly printed in
register and appear very thin, so they should conform beautifully. The
smallest stencil writing is clear but not quite readable on the 1/72 sample I have
before me....the smallest stencil text is very, very tiny.
