Kursad Albayraktar of Kedi Decals has just released ALPS-printed decals for the Connecticut Air National Guard A-10s in 1/48th and 1/32nd scales. The sheet includes the old blue/black/yellow tail markings, as well as the new black/yellow lightning bolt ones. As stated on Kedi Decals’ website, these are the most accurate and up-to-date markings available for these A-10s.
Plentiful
mission markings are provided, as well as 6 specific serial numbers and crew
names. Additional numbers are provided to construct other serial numbers, too.
Many of these airframes participated in Operation Iraqi Freedom. Air Force
Outstanding Unit Award ribbons in both high and low visibility versions are
supplied. Standard stencil data is not included on the sheet.

These updated
and accurate decals are a welcomed addition to build a current 118th
FS A-10. Thanks to Kursad for listening to and soliciting opinions from the
modeling community.
