This is FM 's new 1/48 scale Breguet Br 1050 "Alize" kit.

Kit#   6041

Box dimensions: length 390 mm      width 250 mm        height  49  mm

 

It comes in light grey plastic with the following dimensions:

Length of model:  265 mm   (w/o prop) 

Wingspan:     312 mm  (approx.)

Construction booklet:    3 A4 paper size, double printed with French/English language instructions  

 

Number of sprues:    4

2 clear vac form sheets 

1 photo etched fret with  58  parts

1 decal sheet with 3 options

23 resin parts 

41 white metal parts

   

Total number of plastic parts:   71

 

 

Main features include: 

 

-Detailed surfaces.

-Engraved panel lines. 

-Fully detailed cockpit

-Fully detailed landing gear bays

-Open weapons bay

-Radar assembly

-The decal sheet consists of  three  aircraft with 3 different color schemes

-Optional folded wings

Main disadvantages I personally found:

 

-No painting instructions for the internal/external parts except for the main scheme of  the aircrafts.

-Shallow engraving on most of the parts. Extreme care should be taken before sanding the parts.

-Plastic flash is evident on many parts.
