Hill Decals a decal sheet full of lots of variety. This particular decal sheet focuses on the Bush War Hinds. Markings cover sixteen aircraft including Mi-24 and the Mi-35 for the USSR in Afghanistan, Russian forces in Chechnya and Dagestan, Ukraine forces in UN markings, Afghan "Northern Alliance Forces", Afghan AF before 1979, Croatian AF, Macedonian AF, Czech AF, Bulgarian AF, Libyan AF, Nigerian AF, Sudanese AF. Stencils are included for one Hind. Painting instructions are included for each aircraft although in some cases you only have one view of the aircraft, which will mean some artistic license on painting the camo on the other side of the aircraft. Paint colours are given in FS#'s for each aircraft as well as some background info on each aircraft (including such info as where it operated and whether the paint was faded etc). |

These decals are a very high quality in perfect register and best suited for the 1/48 Revell, Monogram, Mini-Hobby or Trumpeter kit and in 1/72 for the Hasegawa, Zvezda or Bilek kits. A very nice decal sheet and highly recommended for all the fans of this very well known Russian attack helicopter. The variety of camo patterns means there should be something here to appeal to just about everyone. Steve I would like to thank Linden Hill Decals for providing me with this review sample. |
