This new decal sheet from Cutting Edge Modelworks includes markings for two different 1/48 B-25's.

The first aircraft is a B-25D-25-NC  42-87293 with the 38BG/ 17 RS from Linsayen, Luzon in May 1945.    The paint scheme is Olive Drab on top and Neutral Gray on the underside.  The tail has white on the lower part of the tail with black serial numbers on it "287293".  There is artwork on the side of the tail of a fellow riding a big bomb with yellow lines behind him like a shooting star.  There are also 5 white stars on the side of the tail.  The artwork on the side on the nose is quite noteworthy.......it's a sexy nude witch flying a broom (later versions of this artwork had he wearing a black bikini bathing suit) with the text "Mitch the Witch" next to the artwork.  The artwork for this aircraft has a white decal to go underneath the noseart decal.  The prop spinner cones are black and the forward engine cowling ring is yellow.  This aircraft has a huge amount of mission markings including ships and Japanese flags.

The second aircraft is a B-25D-20-NC  41-30592 with the 345BG/ 500 BS flown by Lt. Merwyn Bruce.  The paint scheme is Olive Drab on top and Neutral Gray on the underside.  The tail has yellow serial numbers on it "130592".  There is artwork on the side of the tail of the head of a white snorting horse.

The artwork on the side it's a sexy Mexican dancer with long legs with the red text "Mexican Spitfire" next to the artwork.  The artwork for this aircraft has a white decal to go underneath the noseart decal.  The prop spinner cones are black and the forward engine cowling ring is yellow.  There is also a white band around the fuselage behind the wings.  This aircraft has a huge amount of mission markings including Japanese flags.

The noseart decals are delicate and two are included for each plane in case you mess up the first ones.  Exacting instructions are included on how to prepare and install these decals…..read these instructions carefully to avoid disaster.  Apparently these noseart decals are very thin and need special care, but once installed they will look very accurate and realistic.  The nose art decals are printed on a one piece decal sheet, so you’ll need to cut the decal free from the rest of the decal film…..patience is the key here.  The noseart decal is beautifully printed with fantastic detail and lovely shading.

The instructions are clear and includes helpful tips for decal application as well as info about one of the aircraft.

A very nice decal sheet and  sure to please the lucky 300 people that manage to buy one of these limited edition sheets.
