This Contact Resine detait set from Design & Marketing Int'l is for the Trumpeter MiG-3.  This set contains 14 cream coloured resin pieces, 3 Photo etch sheets, canopy masks and a sheet of instrument gauge decals.

The resin casting is first rate....the detail level plus the combination of the other items such as the decals, photo etch parts and canopy masks makes this a very complete combination of multi-media parts.

The instrument panel decals will catch the eye when installed....they are very clearly printed. 

The set also includes a resin seat with full detail including seat back padding with seatbelts as well as lower seatbelts.  There is also detail on the back of the seat.

The detail on the cockpit floor and sidewalls and radio is rich and well defined. 

You also get a resin rudder and horizontal tail flying surfaces.  These are cloth covered pieces and on the full sized aircraft and all that lovely detail is captured on this set.  The flaps are a wonderful detail rich assembly made from many photo etch parts.  They will take a bit of effort to assemble, but they will look stunning when done.  This picture to the right shows some of the rivet detail on the photo etch parts.  This is a great set and you will definitely improve the detail level on the 1/32 Trumpeter MiG-3.

You also get enough canopy masks for 2 canopies.  There is 4 pages of instruction and they are very clearly laid out and easy to follow.  There is so much more to this set than I have mentioned such as the multi-part main landing gear doors with detail on both sides and so much more.  I'd like to thank Design & Marketing Int'l for providing me with this review sample...visit their site for this and other products.
