| Not long after Hasegawa released their new 1/72 scale kit of Avro Lancaster - Tally Ho! is bringing the decal sheet for this beautiful kit (or perhaps the 1/48 decals are on Kamil's work desk already?). This decal sheet sells under number 72 042. There are 3 options: two RAF and one RAAF aircraft. | ||

1. Lancaster B Mk.I, NG240 / CF F2 "Fox 2", 625 Squadron RAF, Kelstern 1945. This is one of the several RAF bombers shot down over occupied Czech territory at the end of the WW II. Nose art on this aircraft is "Fredie Firkin" the beer barrel. 2. Lancaster B Mk.I, LM220 / WS Y "Younger", IX Squadron RAF, Bardney 1944. Flown by F/L W.D.Tweddle during two attacks on German battleship Tirpitz. Aircraft carries 42 operations score and 2 silhouettes of Tirpitz. The bomb bay of this Lancaster was modified to carry 12.000lb bomb - "Tallboy". 3. Lancaster B Mk.III, ED611 / JO U "Uncle Joe", 463 Squadron RAAF, Waddington 1944. This aircraft carries an interesting portrait of J.V. Stalin and the name "Uncle Joe" below the cockpit. |

There is an instruction sheet in English. My samples are in perfect register with bright colors and beautifully detailed nose arts.
Check availability at Squadron.com and Roll Models.
Thank you Kamil Meluzin (Tally Ho!) ! for providing the samples.
