-------------------- |
Like many people I bought the 1/48 B-1 from Revell (Revell Germany). I then opened the box....fondled the plastic....awed at the size of the monster and closed up the box due to lack of reference. A couple of years later I acquired some photo etch sets.....but again the model sat due to lack of cockpit and bomb bay references. Then Daco Publications released this book....needless to say I had my doubts about how much reference could be acquired about this front line US bomber. Was I ever impressed when I opened this book.
| This book was a huge surprise and includes all the photos you need to detail this model. This 84 page softcover book from Daco Publications is the only book you'll need to build and super detail your B-B model. This book contains almost 375 colour photos of the B-1B |

This book is 21 x 24 cm (5,33 x 9.5 inch), contains of 84 colour pages.

You get all the usual detail pics as well as critical hard to find photos of areas of the plane that would get any super detailer excited. These would include the rotary launcher and other configurations for the bomb bays.

The photos are clearly printed on glossy paper with good light and provide detail of the important areas of the B-1B. The photos in this review will give you an idea of what this book has to offer....you've got to buy the book to see the larger photos.

Daco even uncovered pictures of the nuclear bomb - but you'll have to buy the book to see them

The text in this book is mostly photo descriptions to help support the wonderful photos in this book. There are also photos of bomb loader vehicles.
You can get this book direct from the Daco Publications website.
I'd like to thank Danny at Daco Publications for sending me this review sample.
