This new decal sheet from Model Alliance Group features a large number and variety of aircraft from the HMS Ark Royal during '50 Years of Flight' and ties in with the On-Target Special No 3 by Model Alliance Group.

This decal sheet features 13 different aircraft including;

  • 2 De Havilland Sea Venoms from 1956

  • 1 Westland Whirlwind from 1956
  • 1 Hawker Sea Hawk from 1957
  • 1 Fairey Gannet from 1970
  • 1 Blackburn Buccaneer from 1964
  • 1 De Havilland Sea Vixen
  • 2 Westland Sea Kings from 1970 -74
  • 1 Hawker Sea Hawk from 1957
  • 1 Douglas Skyraider from 1958
  • 2 Supermarine Scimitars from 1961-64

The instructions are straight forward and also include 3 views of most aircraft on this decal sheet. 

The decals themselves are flawlessly printed and very clearly printed on the 1/72 samples I have before me and are contained on 2 decal sheets.  Colours look solid and should cover very well, but the decals appear thin and of a very high quality.   

There are 7 pages of colour instruction sheets.  This is a fine decal sheet and a welcome treat for people interested in building these aircraft that flew off the Ark Royal.
