--------------------

This new decal sheet from Model Alliance features an international selection of 13 aircraft....from 6 air forces from the Model Alliance On-Target Profile No 10.

These 13 Sepecat Jaguars include single seat and two se33at verions that include;
  • French Air Force - 'Armee De l'Air' Sepecat Jaguar A, A6, '3-XA' of EC3/3 'Ardenner', Armee de l'Air, Nancy, France during the 1980's.  Paint scheme is a disruptive camouflage scheme of Gris Blue Fonce and Gris Vert Fonce over Aluminium undersides.
  • Indian Air Force Sepecat Jaguar International IM, JM252 of 6 Squadron 'The dragons', Indian Air Force, Poona Air Base, India in 2001.  Paint scheme is a disruptive camouflage scheme of Barley Grey BS381C:626 and Medium Sea Grey BS381C:637.  The nose anti-glare panel, nose and intake lips are Matt Black, Fin tip Dark Olive Green.

  • Indian Air Force Hal / Sepecat Jaguar International IB, JT057 of 27 Squadron 'Flaming Arrows', Indian Air Force, Bangalore Air Base, India in the 1980's.  Paint scheme is a disruptive camouflage scheme of Dark Green BS381C:641 and Dark Sea Grey BS381C:638.  The nose anti-glare panel, nose and intake lips are Matt Black, Fin tip Dark Olive Green and the wing dielectric panel in Chocolate Brown.
  • Royal Air Force Sepecat Jaguar International T.4, XX838 'FZ' of 41 Squadron, RAF Coltishall  in 2005.  Paint scheme is Dark Sea Grey BS381;638 uppersurface over Dark Camoflauge Grey BS381C;629 undersides.  Tip of fin in Black.  Gun ports metallic/burnt copper.
  • Nigerian Air Force Sepecat Jaguar International BN, NAF703 of the Nigerian Air Force, Makurdi Air Base, Nigeria in the 1980's.  Paint scheme is a disruptive camouflage scheme of Mid-Stone, Sage Green and Dark Grass Green.  The nose anti-glare panel and intake lips are Matt Black, Fin tip Dark Olive Green.  There is also a second option of a single seat fighter.

The instructions are straight forward and also include painting instructions for the interior which is helpful.  You also get lists of recommended kit and aftermarket items to help you build the best Jaguar you can.

The decals themselves are flawlessly printed and very clearly printed on the 1/48 samples I have before me.  Colours look solid and should cover very well, but the decals appear thin and of a very high quality.

Artwork includes leopards, wild boars, raging bulls, sharks,  and various squadron crest etc to add colour to your finished model.

There are 12 pages of instruction sheets with 4 view colour drawings of 10 of the aircraft (the rest of the planes are nmore of less duplicate paint schemes with the other aircraft covered in the instructions).  This is a fine decal sheet and a welcome treat for people interested in building the classic Sepecat Jaguar.

You can order these decals direct from aviation-workshop@btconnect.com   Contact them for prices and ordering information.

Special thanks to Model Alliance for sending me this review sample.  You can purchase these decals direct from the Model Alliance website.
