Here is a review of a new release by MAW Decals headed up by Creighton Henthorn. MAW stands for Marine Aircraft Wing. One USMC F/A-18C aircraft is included from January 2004: BuNo 164265 |

Markings are included for 1 hi-vis blue tailed jet from VMFA-122, which includes a blue fuel tank with US flag pattern. In 32nd scale, this model will really stand out. Many stencils are included as well. Though, the formation light panels will need to be sourced elsewhere, which should not be an issue. The decals are beautifully printed by Microscale, and are in-register. The smallest of markings are crisp and clear, and the white markings are very bright and clean. There is also a full color 2-sided instruction sheet with FS color callouts, paint patterns, weapons' loads and very nice artwork. Artwork is by Creighton Hawthorn. Recommended Kits:
