know Jake Melampy from ARC and his outstanding aircraft images and the
tremendous access he gains across the US. Here is a review of a new photo
CD from Jake titled "Red Flag 07.02". The cost is $25 with free

Held at
Nellis Air Force Base, Nevada, Red Flag is the world's largest exercise.
Red Flag 07.02 took place in January 2007, and offered aircraft from the
Royal Air Force, 35th Fighter Wing, 48th Fighter Wing, 27th Fighter Wing,
18th Wing, 57th Wing, 1st Fighter Wing, and more. Everything from F-16s to
F-22s, and KC-135s to C-130s were present. While some photos were taken on
the ramp, the vast majority were taken as the aircraft were departing or
returning from a mission. Click here

Red Flag
07.02 took place at Nellis AFB, Nevada, from January 16 through January
26, 2007. This disc contains 150 images, sized 1500x1000 pixels, covering
11 different types of aircraft from 26 individual squadrons. The majority
of photos were taken as the aircraft departed/returned from the missions,
although many shots of aircraft on the ramp are included.
The specific
aircraft included are B-1, B-2, C-130, E-3 AWACS, EA-6B, F-15C/D, F-15E,
F-16, F-22, KC-135, and Tornado. The aircraft are categorized by type and
unit on the CD. The Nellis F-15 and F-16 aggressors are included, as some
nice B-2 images.
Overall, there
are some terrific images that showcase Jake's finest work.
