The latest offering from MAW-Decals is for three USMC F/A-18D Hornets of VMFA(AW)-332 'Moonlighters';

 

1) F/A-18D Hornet, VMFA(AW)-332 'Moonlighters', Bu.No.164705 (Hi-Viz), April 2004. Lot 15/Block 38 airframe. This aircraft has SJU-17 seats, GPS upgrade, swept back UHF antenna, screen style vents, late style center pylon. 

 

2) F/A-18D Hornet, VMFA(AW)-332 'Moonlighters', Bu.No.164705 (Hi-Viz), OIF 2005.  Updated markings circa 2005. Lot 15/Block 38 airframe. This aircraft has SJU-17 seats, GPS upgrade, swept back UHF antenna, screen style vents, late style center pylon.

3) F/A-18D Hornet, VMFA(AW)-332 'Moonlighters', Bu.No.164959 (Lo-Viz), Operation Allied Force. Lot 17/Block 44 airframe. This aircraft has SJU-17 seats, GPS upgrade, swept back UHF antenna, screen style vents, late style center pylon. 

Printed by Microscale, the markings are in register and have nice depth of color. Some of the larger Hi-Viz markings are printed separately to insure perfect register. Stenciling and slime lights are included in the set. The instructions feature full color artwork, with left and right side profiles, as well as upper and lower placement profiles and proper FS color recommendations. Kit modifications to bring the model up to current specs are noted in the instructions as well. Last but not least, a hard point and ordnance chart is included.
