These new resin set of resin seamless intakes from Cutting Edge Modelworks will be a very welcome item for anyone building any of the Tamiya 1/48 F-4B/C/D/E/F/G/J/N kits.  I was quite impressed when I saw that the intakes were done in white resin , because painting white is always a difficult task for all but the most seasoned scale modeller and doing these in white resin will assist greatly.  You will need to cut and grind your kit to prepare it for these resin intakes and the resin intakes will need a tiny bit of prep work. 

Note the photo to the right includes the Tamiya splitter plate and engine face to show how they snap right into place. Since the Tamiya spliiter plates and engine faces are fine they are not included in this Cutting Edge set.  Resin casting is of a very high quality and all the detail is very well done with no air bubbles.  This new resin set from Cutting Edge Modelworks will permit modelers to take their 1/48 Tamiya F-4 and go to town with some first rate seamless resin intakes.
