review Cutting Edge 1/48 A-7 Seamless Intake CEC48495

These new resin set of resin seamless intakes from Cutting Edge Modelworks will be a very welcome item for anyone building the 1/48 Hasegawa A-7 Corsair II. I was quite impressed when I saw that the intakes were done in white resin and the fan blades were done in gray resin. Painting white is always a difficult task for all but the most seasoned scale modeller and doing these in white resin will assist greatly. You will need to cut away the intake lip from both halves of the fuselage then install this intake as you would the kit parts. There will be a tiny bit of work remove the parts from the casting blocks.

Resin casting is of a very high quality and all the detail is very well done with no air bubbles. This new resin set from Cutting Edge Modelworks will permit modelers to take their 1/48 Hasegawa A-7 Corsair II and go to town with some first rate seamless resin intakes and save yourself time in not having to deal with seams in the intake trunks. The inclusion of the nosegear well is a welcome addition to this set and will ease effort when including this seamless intake to your next A-7.
