This new decal sheet from Afterburner Decals includes markings for five different 1/48 F-16's with the American Pacific Air Forces.  Well actually 4 different jets, but one of the jets is featured twice with different artwork.

The first aircraft is a F-16CG 90-0703 Block 40, 8th FW Commander's jet 2007, at Kunsan AB, South Korea.   The paint scheme for this aircraft is FS 36270 overall and FS 36118 on  the topside.  The rudder features a wolf's head artwork and blue and yellow fin flash areas at the very top of the tail.  The gray and white tail code decals are included as 2 decal layers to ensure perfect registration.

The second aircraft is a F-16CJ 91-0357 Block 50 CCIP 35th FW Commander's jet 2007, at Misawa AB, Japan.   The paint scheme for this aircraft is FS 36270 overall and FS 36118 on  the topside.  The rudder features a big cat artwork on one side and Samurai artwork on the other side of the tail and red and yellow fin flash areas at the very top of the tail.  There is also Falcon (bird of prey) artwork on both sides of the fuselage behind the canopy.  The gray and white tail code decals are included as 2 decal layers to ensure perfect registration.  The aircraft # "357" is included for the inside of the nose gear door.....a nice touch to see this attention to detail.

The third aircraft is a F-16CJ 92-3901 Block 50 CCIP 35th FW Commander's jet 2007, at Misawa AB, Japan. This jet also features the colourful post 9-11 "Let's Roll" artwork on the side of the engine intake.  The gray and white tail code decals are included as 2 decal layers to ensure perfect registration.

The fourth aircraft is a F-16CG 90-0745 Block 40 CCIP 354th FW Commander's jet 2007, at Eielson AB, Alaska.  The paint scheme for this aircraft is FS 36270 overall and FS 36118 on  the topside.  The rudder features a silhouette  artwork of Alaska on both sides of the tail and red, blue and yellow fin flash areas at the very top of the tail.  The gray and white tail code decals are included as 2 decal layers to ensure perfect registration.

The fifth aircraft is a F-16CG 90-0745 Block 40 CCIP 354th FW Commander's jet 2007, at Eielson AB, Alaska.  The paint scheme for this aircraft is FS 36270 overall and FS 36118 on  the topside.  The rudder features a cartoon artwork of a Alaska wolf with a blazing machine gun on both sides of the tail and black and blue fin flash areas at the very top of the tail.  The gray and white tail code decals are included as 2 decal layers to ensure perfect registration.

Thankfully the FS #'s and Testors paint numbers are included for these tail fin flashes and blown up color images show these very well to assist masking prior to painting.

The instructions are clear and include 4 views of each aircraft.  The decals are beautifully printed on 3 decal sheets.  You also get black and white line drawings showing decal and stencil placement and another page of text telling about each of these USAF units as well as modeling notes and F-16 Block notes.  Two complete set of stencils is included on this decal sheet.

A very nice decal sheet featuring a variety of US Pacific Air Force F-16 Viper/Falcons.
