This new decal sheet f rom FlightDecs includes markings for four different 1/72 Canadian CP-140 Auroras including one with a huge red maple leaf on the tail and another one in a 75th Anniversary scheme.The first aircraft is a CP-140 Aurora 140105 with 405 Squadron on the 75th Anniversary of the Canadian Air Force. The special 75th Anniversary paint scheme for this aircraft is FS 36173 Dark Grey on top and FS 36375 Light Ghost Grey on the underside. The prop spinners are Black. The artwork consists of a special 75 anniversary artwork of a gold and black bird of prey holding 3 green maple leafs in it's beak with 405 and 75th Anniversary included in the artwork on both sides of the tail. White fuselage code letters are LQ Y. There is a fairly large red and white Canadian flag at the top of the tail. The roundels come in two layer to ensure perfect registration. The second aircraft is a CP-140 Aurora 140107 with 415 Squadron with Sharkmouth markings of the Canadian Air Force. The special Sharkmouth paint scheme for this aircraft is FS 36173 Dark Grey on top and FS 36375 Light Ghost Grey on the underside. The prop spinners are Black. The artwork consists of a Sharksmouth artwork on both sides of all 4 engine nacelles. The tail also has grey silhouette artwork on both sides of a leaping swordfish. White fuselage code letters are LQ Y. There is a fairly large grey Canadian flag on both sides of the tail. |

The third aircraft is a CP-140 Aurora 140117 with 407 Squadron Fincastle in 1992 of the Canadian Air Force. The paint scheme for this aircraft is FS 36173 Dark Grey on top and FS 36375 Light Ghost Grey on the underside. The prop spinners are Black. The artwork consists of a special large red maple leaf artwork on both sides of the tail. This artwork is for 407 Demon squadron and features a winged Trident on the large red maple leaf artwork. |
