I love Phantoms!!! This sheet features three
complete QF-4E's with options for a fourth from the 82nd Aerial Targets Squadron
at Holloman AFB. These jets were painted in commemorative schemes that had
been previously worn by the F-4 during it's USAF service. The standard
SEA scheme as well as the SEA wrap-around scheme are represented on these
jets. One aircraft has been painted to represent Col. Robin Olds SCAT
XXVII jet. Col. Olds shot down 4 Migs during the Vietnam War and this jet
has kill marking to remember his victories. These jets often perform at
airshows as part of the Heritage flight to pay homage to the 60 year history of
the USAF.
The QF-4E is quite different
under the skin, but for modellers the main concern is what is different on the
outside of the model. In this case the differences are basically
antennas. To help you get things correct, the Twomikes
resin QF-4 conversion will permit you to accurately depict the drone
modifications that have been done to these jets.

2 decal sheets. Paint codes are called out in FS #'s, Testors MM,
Humbrol, Gunze Sangyo and Xtracrylics. Seventeen close-up photos of
these jets are included on the decal sheet.
