This new decal sheet from Zotz Decals includes markings for one U.S. Mustang with sexy noseart and 2 RAF Mustang III's flown by a Polish pilot.

The first aircraft is an U.S. Mustang "Rebel Queen" flown by Capt. Fred Glover.  This was his first assigned aircraft, serial No. 43-12214, 4th FG, 336th FS.  Capt. Glover scored 10.3 victories with this Mustang.  The paint scheme is overall Olive Drab on top and gray on the bottom with a red spinner and white stripes on the top of the wings and tail stabilators and 8 victory markings of white German crosses.  Noseart is a sexy blonde in a red bathing suit and yellow with white outline script that reads "Rebel Queen".

The second aircraft is an RAF Mustang III FB166 flown by Sqd Leader Eugeniusz Horbaczewski OC No. 315 Sqd, Brenzett, June 1944.   Sqd Leader Eugeniusz Horbaczewski finished with 16 confirmed air to air victories.  He was KIA 18/Aug 1944.  The paint scheme is Sea Grey and Olive Drab on top and Sky Grey on the underside with a white spinner.  This aircraft sports full D-Day stripes and a huge number of yellow mission markings.  There are also 13.5 victory markings of German crosses.  There is also artwork on the side of the fuselage below the canopy.

The third aircraft is an RAF Mustang III FB387 flown by Sqd Leader Eugeniusz Horbaczewski OC No. This aircraft has a Sky rear fuselage band and white stripes on the top of the wings and tail stabilators and a huge number of yellow mission markings.  There are also 13.5 victory markings of German crosses and 4 victory markings of Swastikas.  There is also artwork on the side of the fuselage below the canopy.

There are 2 pages of instruction sheets with 4 view colour drawings of these planes showing camo patterns and decal placement.  The decals are contained on 2 decal sheets and one small insert decal sheet.

Zotz Decals is well known for their high quality decals that contain the colourful markings with artwork that catches the imagination and makes us delve deeper into the history of these valiant planes and the pilots that flew them.  This decal sheet has D-Day stripes on one plane and sexy noseart on another plane which makes this a sheet that interests me deeply.

The recommended kit for these decals is the 1/32 Trumpeter Mustang kit.  Please visit www.jrutman.com for upgraded resin 1/32 P-51B Mustang parts.

You can order this decal sheet from the Zotz Decals website.
