This new decal sheet from MAW Decals includes markings for 3 different 1/48 F/A-18A, C & D.

The 3 aircraft include a variety of Hornets from 3 different USMC Squadrons including 1 with hi-viz markings as well as 2 line jets.  

• F/A-18A+ Hornet (BuNo 162396) with VMFA-232 "The Red Devils" in March 2007.  Paint scheme is low viz gray with red tails and red markings including a big winged Red Devil with pitch fork on the tails. 

• F/A-18C Hornet (BuNo 163758) with VMFA-212 "The Lancer" in May 2003.  Paint scheme is low viz gray with dark gray markings.  

• F/A-18D Hornet (BuNo 165411) with VMFA(AW)-121 "The Green Knights" in OIF 2007.  Paint scheme is low viz gray a large Knight chess piece on the tails.

The 3 pages of instructions are clear and include 4 color views of each aircraft.  The decals are beautifully printed on 1 decal sheet and two insert decal sheets.  MAW Decals also includes all the tiny little extra decals for the ejection seats and chaff and flare dispensers, landing gear and landing gear doors etc.  This is a very complete package and very welcome if you have an urge to build a USMC Hornet.
