This new vac-u-formed canopy by Maestro
Models Conversions from Rebell
Hobby includes 2
canopies. The early Draken had a canopy that was lower and less bulged
than the later versions. To make a J35D Draken or an aircraft from the
second series of S35 E Draken (modified J35D's) you only need to replace the
canopy from Hasegawa's kit with this vac-u-formed canopy.
To make a J-35A Draken or a J35B Draken you must have shorter air intakes, that are available from Rebell Hobby. You also have to rebuild the fin top as per the photos in the instruction sheet. Click on images below to see larger images
A very common configuration for the S35E is a load of 4 fuel tanks and these are also available from Rebell Hobby. The instructions are clear and include 3 photos to help you with the conversion. You get 2 canopies so you can cut them to display the canopy in the open position show you choose to.Steve I would like to thank Rebell Hobby for providing me with this review sample.
